I always wondered what the hype was all about. Now I've finally seen it for myself. What a movie! Isn't it amazing how destiny follows you? It wasn't expected that a poor boy from the slums of India would know the answers to life's questions, but his life experiences taught him these answers.
As artists, we are often thought of as lacking knowledge and wisdom. Creative people are often misunderstood and overlooked by those with "real jobs". Artists are some of the most intelligent people on the planet, I think. We are the ones who draw from our own experiences to create powerful works that cause others to think differently. We are not afraid to express ourselves boldly and blatantly.
We pour our life's experiences onto canvas or use our body movements in dance to express our challenges. Life's experiences, even the most difficult ones, shape the person whom we become. Everything is connected. The decisions we made in the past affect our future.
Destiny is a full circle. Ever heard of the term, "What goes around comes back around again?" Well, it is actually true. Although the Bible describes it as the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." It really doesn't matter what people have done to us. It matters how we have reacted and what we have done. For us artists, our reaction is our work.
Even though bad things may have happened to us, God holds our hand as a Father holds his child. He will make sure that those bad experiences become our stepping stones to success. Our experiences will teach us if we allow them to and will lead us into destiny and purpose. Excellent Movie!!
